Hot Since 82: the long game in tech house

Plenty of DJs chase the drop. Hot Since 82 chases the groove — and then rides it for hours. Yorkshire-born Daley Padley made his name on long, hypnotic, open-to-close tech house sets that trade fireworks for patience and feel.

A sound built for the long set

Hot Since 82's records are designed to breathe. Rolling basslines, a hooky vocal or synth stab, and just enough harmonic movement to keep a room locked in without ever forcing the moment — it's music engineered for the slow burn rather than the peak-time spike. His "Labyrinth" concept took that to its logical end: solo, open-to-close nights where the pacing is the show.
